ABOUT KRISTA
I have worked with dogs since 2004, from in-home pet care and dog daycare management to fostering for rescue organizations. I've had the pleasure of getting to know a lot of dogs - outgoing dogs, cautious dogs, aloof dogs and party animals - I love that no two are alike and I can be a little part of each of their lives.
I have considerable training and experience with group play dynamics & body language, high energy dogs, reactivity, and fear-based behaviors utilizing positive reinforcement methods. I'm a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), Pet Sitters Associates, and a supporting member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I am also NAPPS pet sitter certified and American Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR certified.
It's important to me that every dog be acknowledged and celebrated for their needs and interests. In working with your pups, I am attentive to subtle cues and building healthy communication & group dynamics. I focus on small group and one-on-one work because I believe they foster a highly entertaining, behaviorally enriching experience.
I live with my husband and three beautiful blondes: Tybee, Arya, and Jinx. They are my toughest instructors yet most patient co-learners, eager trail companions, and have always been there to help lead and entertain foster dogs. It is for them and the wonderfully quirky dogs like them that I started this business.

FAMILY FOREVER
The bond we share with our dogs is deep and indescribable. Tango passed before the beginning of this adventure but walked me up to its doorstep. His needs and interests were as much an inspiration as anyone's and he will always be a part of our journey.
